Culture Night on March 29th

Toei Movie Land is a Japanese movie theme park with open-air sets used in samurai movies, and the site of actual live filming. Additionally, the park is opened to entertain visitors. The swords clash and flash at the facility in Kyoto, the birthplace of Japanese cinema, where history is kept alive on authentic outdoor Edo-period sets. Attractions include a cinema culture hall featuring exhibits related to the history of Japanese movies and film making. Guests can also try on traditional costumes and join the action. Culture Night will be an unforgettable way to experience Japanese culture. Join us and get ready to enjoy yourself !

The custom has been strongly influenced by Zen Buddhism. Nowadays, the tea ceremony is relatively popular as a kind of hobby. The ceremony itself consists of rituals that be learned by heart.
